Who we are

Come along for the ride. My husband and I are raising 3 young boys (ages 6, 4, 2). This is sure to provide some great adventures. I’m learning a lot along the way and love to share those experiences with others.

Here are some of the bigger adventures going on in our lives right now:

1. Our oldest is in 1st grade and we are homeschooling him. He attended a public school for Kindergarten. We are figuring this out together and some days go more smoothly than others.

2. We (my family of 5) are currently living with my parents. We have been here just over a year. My mom also babysits for my niece who is 3 and nephew who is 6 months old. How’s that for adventure?!

3. The biggest adventure is trying to patiently wait to see what God has in store for the next chapter of our lives. Patiently…I have to keep reminding myself of that.

Who are these boys y
ou ask?

Daniel (Feb. 2004) … LOVES to build with Legos! He is becoming quite skilled in building his own creations, as well as, following the directions for ships that are quite large. He grew up among teens (my husband was a youth pastor) and as a result he is not afraid to talk to anyone. He quite enjoys carrying on a conversation with adults and other children alike.

Isaiah (March 2006) …he is mommy’s little helper. He is almost always willing to offer his help in any situation. He has had a very compassionate and caring heart from a young age as well. He is always looking out for his brothers and trying to  make them feel better when they are upset.

Joshua (Feb. 2008) …cracks us up. Of course he does, he is the youngest. Just his facial expressions alone can send us into fits of laughter. He has learned that it is quite fun to entertain Big Brothers and Mom and Dad.

We have been asked many times if we are going to try for a girl. For those of you that know me, you know I am completely happy with these 3 precious boys. I grew up with 2 younger brothers, lots of uncles and lots of male cousins. I’m not really sure I would know what to do with a little girl.

So, if you’re ready to see some adventures inside the life of a mom with 3 boys, sit back and enjoy some time browsing the posts here.
